Why do you use I.D.™?
There's no other choice. I’ve been exposed to many tools and processes but of all of them (and my entire team agree), this is the first time it’s gotten to who they really are – like a DNA. It’s the only one that absolutely nails you. It gets to what’s inside the person - like a blood test – and you can't fool it.
The I.D. has an accuracy that I’ve never experienced before. It’s insights are profound and the strategies completely practical. I have used the I.D. professionally and personally for almost 15 years. As a tool, it’s simply part of the way I operate now and within my team, it’s a spoken language.
My experiences with both I.D. and Link-up have been simply dramatic. In one team at a previous employer, there was open hostility, yet we achieved team harmony within a week of being introduced to the I.D. In one year they went from being the worst team in the company to the best – and I credit I.D. and Link-up for that turnaround.

What does it mean for you as a leader?
As a leader, understanding my own I.D. and those of my team has freed up my time, we all now achieve much better outcomes because we know how to approach each other. As their boss, I now know how to work things through with them so they can do their job in way that also meets their needs - the first time - so there are now far fewer escalations back to me and better quality outcomes from them.
And personally?
For me, I have a better understanding of myself and self acceptance and its nice to see others on the team understanding and accepting themselves and others the same way and working together in the context of their I.D. They have more realistic expectations of each other therefore better team morale. This is very fulfilling for me as a leader. And I’m better equipped to get the best out of them by helping them do things their way. And I constantly leverage off their I.D. to compliment my own I.D.
